About Me
Since my early childhood I always was very keen on being active. Joining the gymnastic group in primary
school years introduced me to competitive sports. As a teenager I enjoyed playing tennis and in my late
teens joined a volleyball team of my local sports club. By the time I was sixteen I got my first certificate
to be an assistant to a gymnastic instructor. When I was eighteen I became fully qualified to teach children's
gymnastic and instructing aerobics classes for women. I worked for my local German sports club for about
5 years on a part-time basis. Obviously, one of my A-level subjects was Sports.
However, as things go in life,
due to injuries I decided to study Sociology rather then Sports Science. This led me to move to England to
live for one year as an exchange student. Little did I know that I would end up getting married and
staying here for good with my husband Eddie. After getting married I left the fitness industry for a while,
but always believed that I would return to teaching and instructing sports one day.
This day came in 2003, when I decided to train with Future Fit Limited to become a Personal Trainer. Through this training I am
fully qualified as an advanced instructor, which means that I can safely teach and instruct people of all ages
and abilities, including special populations, such as pregnancy, asthma, diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis,
lower back pain, arthritis, obesity (weight management).
Now I really enjoy spending quality time with
people either in their homes or outdoors to help them becoming physically healthier and therefore enjoy a
better life. I personally train at home and feel more secure in my own surroundings. It also suits my lifestyle much better than travelling to a gym.
